LEON — Trick-or-treat, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Leon Fire Department announced via its Facebook page “Make sure to stop by the station and see us for some goodies.”

Saturday, Oct. 28

MASON COUNTY UNINCORPORATED AREAS — Trick-or-treat in all unincorporated areas throughout Mason County, which is set by the Mason County Commission, will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.  

POINT PLEASANT — Trick-or-treat, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

MASON — Trick-or-treat, 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

FLATROCK — Flatrock Volunteer Fire Department Open House, noon – 4 p.m., burgers, hot dogs, bounce houses, meet local firefighters, learn about fire safety, opportunity for kids to try on fire fighting gear. Fire station is located at 14480 Ripley Road.

POINT PLEASANT — Adopt a Pet, Play and Shop event, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Thomas Do It Center in Point Pleasant, will features dogs and cats available for adoption from the Mason County Animal Shelter, as well as food vendors, games and prizes for kids, face painting. WBYG will be broadcasting live.

Monday, Oct. 30

POINT PLEASANT — Truck or Treat, 6-7:30 p.m., First Church of God activities building, which is next door to the church. (Editor’s note: There will also be a clothing giveaway, 5-7 p.m., inside the First Church of God on Monday, Oct. 30.)
