NEW HAVEN, W.Va. —The Town of New Haven Fourth of July Celebration will be from 1 – 5 p.m., at the New Haven Community Building. Activities will include a water slide, free swimming at the pool and games. The H.A. Café food truck will also be set up at the event.
POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Praise Along the River, a featured event of the city’s annual Liberty Fest celebration, kicks off at 7 p.m. at Riverfront Park. The welcome will be given by Mayor Brian Billings, followed by prayer offered by Pastor Nathan Fowler from Bellemead United Methodist Church. There will be performances by Inheritance Quartet, Randy Parsons and Generations Quartet. Pastor Mark Mayes of Point of Faith Church will be speaking. Also offering prayer will be Pastor Bo Burgess of Jordan Baptist Church.

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Liberty Fest continues with music at Riverfront Park. Taking the stage 7 p.m. is Blue Moves (70’s and 80’s music), followed by MFB (70’s and funk music) taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. The concerts are free. Liberty Fest activities continue July 4.
Tuesday, July 4
POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Liberty Fest activities kick off on Independence Day at 6 p.m. with the annual parade. Lineup for the parade is at 5 p.m. at 11th and Main streets. Then, at 7 p.m., Jesse Crawford (country music) takes the main stage at Riverfront Park; 8:15 p.m., city officials welcome visitors and introduce royalty at the Riverfront Park stage; 8:30 p.m., Flatrock Revival (music from the past) takes the main stage; then at 10 p.m., “Gigantic fireworks” on the Ohio River. Also, from 5-9 p.m., there will be bounce houses and from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., face painting will be available. Food and merchant vendors will also be set up. Liberty Fest is free to attend.
